Course Description
Dental implants have become the standard of care to replace missing teeth. Though dental implants can be considered one of today’s most successful dental procedures, they are not without their share of problems. Most of these problems stem from not having enough sound tissue to build on, even before the implant is placed. If we are able to recognize these deficient sites better, and we are able to treat them accordingly with the most predictable site development (both hard and soft tissue) procedures, then we’ve done our patients the best possible service.
Course Objectives:

• Identify and evaluate the deficient implant site both clinically and radiographically
• Recognize the most common anatomical pitfalls associated with these deficiencies
• Understand the decision-making algorithm for each deficient situation
• Prescribe the most contemporary augmentation/ site development procedures to solve each deficiency
