Dr Shakti Singh Graduated from Manipal College of Dental Sciences in India and later finished his Post graduate studies in Orthodontics from the same institution. Originally from New Delhi, Dr. Singh was an outstanding student accumulating numerous awards and achievements including the Indian Dental Association Scholarship for 1st place standing in the final year dental exams.

Wanting to pursue orthodontics in Canada, Dr. Singh was able to secure a spot in graduate Orthodontic program, at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto, for foreign trained orthodontists. Since finishing his 2nd residency, Dr. Singh worked as an active partner and later as an owner at “Smiles in Motion” orthodontic office in Brantford.

Dr. Singh’s areas of interest are- use of temporary anchorage devices in moderate to severe skeletal discrepancy cases to produce orthognathic surgery like results and use of clear aligner therapy to effectively and efficiently treat adults and children alike.

Course Outline

Each class of malocclusion brings it own set of challenges. In this course we will discuss contemporary concepts to plan treatment in various classes of malocclusion. With the help of various case examples, we will establish some guidelines and limits to what is achievable with orthodontics alone.
